The Dental Clinic was founded in 1922 and this year it celebrates its centenary. The commemorative event was held in Panenské Břežany on Monday 24 October 2022, the day of the execution of Dr. Jan Jesenský and Dr. Jiří Jesenský, who worked at the clinic and were nephews of Prof. Jesenský, the founder of the Dental Clinic. The event was attended by distinguished personalities of the Dental Clinic of the First Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University and the General University Hospital in Prague. Other important guests included the Dean of the First Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University, the President of the Czech Medical Society J. E. Purkyně, the President of the Czech Dental Chamber, the Vice-President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Jiří Růžička and representatives of other Czech dental university clinics.
